The Texas Department of Public Safety began the practice of publishing "Most Wanted" lists in 1993, and since then, the program has led to the successful capture of some of the most violent and dangerous fugitives.

Has The Texas Most Wanted List Been Successful?

According to News Channel 6, last year, an incredible 45 arrests were made off the Most Wanted List- including sex offenders, murderers, dangerous drug traffickers, and more.

There was even one woman apprehended, leaving only one female who has evaded capture for many years.

Which Texas Fugitives Currently Have The Highest Reward Payouts?

Right now, the three highest potential reward payouts on the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted are $10,000, and two at $7,500. Let's take a look at the men who have such a high bounty on their heads.

Trevor Rhea McEuen

Trevor Rhea McEuan has a potential reward payout of $10,000 for information that leads to his arrest. This is an unusually high payout- clearly authorities are serious about capturing him.

McEuan was due to appear in court for the shooting death of his neighbor in May 2023. He had been out on bail with an ankle monitor, which he removed.

He is wanted for Capital Murder by Terror Threat, Murder, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Arson of a Habitation.

He should be considered armed and dangerous. 

Miguel Angel Gomez

Miguel Angel Gomez has a potential reward payout of $7,500 for information that leads to his arrest. He is a convicted sex offender, "following an incident with a 16-year-old female" who failed to register.

He has other serious charges/ past convictions, including Homicide, Unlawful Restraint Less Than 17 Years of Age, Escape, Sexual Assault of a Child, Tampering with Government Record.

He should be considered armed and dangerous. 

Raul Herrera, Jr.

Raul Herrera, Jr. has a potential reward payout of $7,500 for information that leads to his arrest. He has gang affiliations and is wanted for Aggravated Sexual Assault, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Assault Causes Bodily Injury, and Violation of Bond/Protective Order.

He also has many previous charges, including Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Sexual Assault, Assault Causes Bodily Injury, Felon in Poss. of a Firearm, Poss. of Cocaine ,Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle, Money Laundering, Violation of Bond/Protective Order, Possession of Marijuana.

Again, he should be considered armed and dangerous.
