Texas House For Sale Has ‘Beetlejuice’ Vibes- Also A Recording Studio
If you are looking for a home that is a sea of black, white and glass- this Arlington home is for you. Maybe it's because it's currently Spooky Week, but this house is giving me major Tim Burton-esque aesthetic vibes. Specifically Beetlejuice but with a dash of Edward Scissorhands.
The house is a massive 4 bed, 4 bath at over 7,000 square feet. Imagine mopping all that tile. But if you can afford $1,750,000 for a home, you can probably also afford to pay someone else to mop it for you.
This home is full of interesting and highly personalized choices, from the aforementioned dedication to black and white in the shared areas of the home, but also the multiple areas dedicated to music practice and production. From the Zillow listing:
Come see this uniquely designed, custom home, with one owner, located minutes from Lake Arlington! This home features a 10 car garage, a stunning professional recording studio, a game room, an outdoor basketball area, an indoor workout facility, and an outdoor oasis with pool. With soaring 35-foot ceilings, a substantial amount of windows, an open concept, and expansive space, this home is perfect for the entertainer. The fourth floor balcony boasts views that expand 20 miles and includes downtown Fort Worth.
If I somehow miraculously acquired this house, I'd lean into its more goth-y elements. Imagine how much softer the black and white contrast would feel if the home had more accent furniture- in a color that was an actual color. There are little pops of color here at there, and they really make the home feel more like a home. Deep purples or deep reds would be lovely. And tons of goth-y art, some nice indoor plants and this house could be a really lovely home. I'd keep the chrome pool table though.
