Texas Judge Arrested For Alleged Racist Comments…Against Himself
A Texas judge recently released a statement maintaining his innocence against charges that he made racist comments...against himself.
As ridiculous as that sounds, Judge KP George was booked into Fort Bend County Jail and faces a misdemeanor charge of "misrepresentation of identity of a candidate," according to ABC News.
A grand jury indicted the Fort Bend County Democratic Judge based on evidence that he may have orchestrated an online hoax to garner sympathy and support.
It is alleged that in September of 2022, George used a Facebook account "Antonio Scalywag" to make hateful and racist comments about his ethnicity with the intent to influence his election against Trever Nehls.

Trever Nehls is the twin brother of Troy Nehls, a Texas congressman.
Judge George won the election and in his recent statement says he is "disappointed in the charges" but that he believes that "justice will prevail" after all the facts are presented. He also stated that he has no intention of stepping down from his position.
Both the Constable and Commissioner of Fort Bend have called for Judge George's resignation.

Judge George voluntarily surrendered himself to Fort Bend County jail and was released on $1000 bail, according to The Daily Mail.
