Congratulations, guys! We made it onto another list that makes us look like total D-bags to the rest of the country.

Researchers snooped around all 50 states to find out which take the least care of good ' ol Mother Earth. You know...stuff like recycling and giving a crud about junk like water and air quality.

Surprise, surprise! Texas ranked the 9th least green state in America.

Everyone who helped to snag us a spot on this coveted list, take a second to pat yourself on the back for not giving a rat's bum about your kiddos, their kiddos, or their kiddo's kiddos...

We won't be around to watch the turds smack that dang fan anyway, right? Out of sight, out of mind, out of sh*ts to give.

The worst part? We all pretty much know the major ick factors and the biggest industries contributing to the problems we face with the ever-declining condition of the environment in the Lone Star State.

How?

Oh, simple. It's the same industries where our dad worked, our dad's dad worked, and our dad's dad's dad worked! It runs in the family. What was good enough for them is good enough for us!

The reality is bleak and tied up with politics and Jesus and some weird crud that shouldn't have any say in whether or not it's okay for little Timmy to spend his life in an iron lung, but what do I know?

I don't see change coming anytime soon. I've only met a handful of Texans who have recycling bins in their homes. We just don't care.
