I'm the oddball among my friends. I don't have any kiddos. Sometimes, I'm kind of lonely and wonder who will visit me in the nursing home when I'm old. Other times, I'm just glad as heck I'm not spending an exorbitant amount of money on childcare in Texas.

Daycare prices are astronomical, and I have no idea how you guys do it. Kudos to you. You're making huge sacrifices for your kids when it comes to your wallet.

My cats are lucky if I remember to grab them a $3 bag of treats.

Those are some pretty expensive crayons and diaper changes. I honestly had no idea just how expensive daycare was until today. Looks like we both learned something. You learned you're either paying way too much or way too little...and I learned that I will most certainly not be having any children. Ever.

How much are you spending on childcare? I'd love to hear from my readers. Feel free to drop me a comment or email me at Chrissy.Covington@townsquaremedia.com. Let me know a rough estimate and what area of Texas you live in and let's keep this conversation going.
