After being approached by a reporter right outside the Capitol, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett gave a short and rather direct answer to the question he asked:

“If you could speak directly to Elon Musk, what would you say?”

“F— off.”

Congresswoman Crockett represents "portions of Dallas and Tarrant Counties, with the cities of Dallas, Grand Prairie, DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Duncanville, Glenn Heights, Hutchins, Wilmer, Arlington, Ovilla, and Seagoville," in the U.S. House of Representatives.

She's also gotten social media famous for not mincing words when pressed in previous exchanges with Republicans.

After Majorie Green insulted Crockett's false eyelashes without reprimand, Crockett then asked if that would also extend to, "somebody's bleach blonde bad built butch body," referring to Green's physical appearance.

The alliterative insult went viral online and even found its way onto T-shirts.

Crockett's style of directness also extends to her X account, on which she recently posted about the recently passed spending bill.

Congresswoman Crockett was the sole Black freshman and youngest Black lawmaker in the 87th session, meaning she likely had to get tough quickly. However, she didn't let her age hold her back:

Congresswoman Crockett filed more bills than any other freshman, assembled a wide coalition to pass landmark criminal justice reforms in the House, and brought more accessibility and accountability to her office than before.

Elon Musk has been grabbing many headlines for his heavy involvement in slashing the federal workforce with his new advisory board known as DOGE, purportedly to eliminate wasteful government spending. However, the cuts have not been without a tremendous amount of controversy.
