Texas Tech University announced they will be holding their annual movie night at Jones AT&T Stadium on Friday, July 16th, 2021. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with the film, Pixar's Soul, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Soul is heartfelt story about the human experience from the eyes of a music teacher who learns what it means to have a soul. It's a fantastic film for all ages, and admission to Texas Tech's movie night is free. Sweet!

The movie will be displayed on big projector screens and everyone is welcome to join. There will be an inflatable fun entertainment area for children to play on before the film begins. Guests are invited to park in the C-1 parking lot just west of the stadium and to use the Gate 1 entrance to gain access to the field. It may be pretty busy this year, so head over there early to be sure you get a parking spot.

Bottled water and blankets are permitted in the door, but other outside food and snacks will not be allowed, so leave yours at home. The concession stand will be open for all of your snacking needs and audience members are asked to keep food and beverage items off in the stands and off of the field.

Texas Tech's movie night didn't happen as usual last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and all the restrictions put in place, but we're fortunate enough to have a little more freedom this year.

Whether you are looking for a fun first date or a place to take the kiddos, movie night at Texas Tech is sure to be a good time.
