Texas Tech Students Leaving Creates Rental Opportunities In Lubbock
I've been considering whether to move into a more affordable rental property in Lubbock. I love my apartment in the heart of downtown Lubbock, but I've a few big dreams to chase over the next few years that are quite expensive. I crept through Zillow a few months ago to see what was available, and it was pretty weak. Everything was way too expensive. I looked again yesterday, and I was blown away at how many inexpensive rentals are open. All the Tech kids are home for the summer.

Where To Look
I almost didn't want to write this article because I haven't nailed down where I'm moving yet. You guys might try to steal all the good spots!
I'm looking around the Tech Terrace area. That's where I grew up, and I've always loved the vibes over there. There are plenty of houses for rent for less than $1000 a month, some are surprisingly less. There are also some nice apartments open all over Lubbock right now that won't leave you eating peanut butter and ramen. Score.
Let's Go!
