
The Combine In Slaton Seeks Help For Area Family After Devastating Losses
Because I work in media and am constantly exposed to news of violent crime, it doesn't usually "shake" me. And while I always have empathy for the victims, it (luckily) doesn't keep me up at night. However, my carefully crafted shell is cracked after the horrific and senseless shooting that left two people dead and grievously injured two others over a domestic dispute. I am deeply disturbed by what happened, and I'm sure many others share the same sentiment.
