A night of southern rock and a celebration of 50 years will take place at the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences in 2022.

The Marshall Tucker Band will celebrate five decades of great music, performances and memories in 2022 as the band will tour the United States with over 30 live concerts throughout the year. On March 27th, 2022, the band will be performing in Lubbock, Texas at the Buddy Holly Hall.

The Marshall Tucker Band formed in 1972 in Spartanburg, South Carolina and became a favorite for so many while being known as a multi-platinum southern rock group. According to a press release, Dave Mason will join the group on stage on select dates throughout the year:

Dave Mason will join the legendary group on select live concert dates. "I'm really looking forward to joining the 50th anniversary celebration of this extraordinary band,” says Mason. "I’ve been waiting to get back on the road, and this is quite the opportunity to bring great music to everybody, everywhere."

"Our special songs, guided by the lyrics of Toy Caldwell, have given us a deep emotional connection with our fans and friends,” adds Gray. "We love you all and can’t wait to see you on the road in 2022.”

Tickets for The Marshall Tucker Band will go on sale Friday, November 19th at 10 a.m. Ticket prices range from $29.50 to $79.50 plus taxes and fees. You can also get tickets at the Buddy Holly Hall Box Office, located at 1300 Mac Davis Lane, Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m.
