According to Garcia, zinc is a great way to help build your immune system but it will not prevent COVID-19. However, building a strong immune system is an important step in staying healthy.
According to Garcia beef, chicken, and pork are all great sources of zinc. Other great sources include pumpkin seeds and beans. Beans also have flavonoids which help zinc get into your cells. Vegetables also contain flavonoids so don't forget to have your vegetables.
