This Quirky Lubbock Store Has The Coolest Collectibles Ever
We've got some incredible thrift stores and vintage shops in Lubbock, Texas. You could spend the entire day driving from place to place and snagging up cool stuff without breaking the bank. I know, because I've done it...many times.
It's probably one of the reasons I'm single. I can't stop bringing home treasures....but who needs a man when you can have an autographed Nolan Ryan baseball card instead, am I right?
One place in particular, Oldies & Goodies Autographs, Antiques, & Collectibles, located at 1301 50th Street, stands out from the rest, in my book. They specialize in authentic collectibles, many of which are autographed, and it's fun to walk through and check out little pieces of history in the shop. Big collectors feel like kids in a candy store walking through there.
Here are some of the raddest things on the shelves in Oldies & Goodies right now:

Oh, and of course, Oldies & Goodies is a locally owned Lubbock business, and I think those take precedence over the rest! Supporting your friends and neighbors in their business efforts around town is important.
Check out a poignant Facebook post by Oldies & Goodies owner, Oscar Omar Gonzales. It hits home.
I try to eat local and shop local whenever possible. It's not hard to do, and local business owners truly appreciate when you step out of your big-name-store-comfort-zone and take a chance on them, especially around the holidays. I know we still have quite a bit of time before Christmas, but I challenge you to give the gift of local goods and services to your friends and family!
Skip Goodwill and the Salvation Army today and check out the fun at Oldies & Goodies!
