Three Arrested After Shooting Car Windows in Lubbock
Wednesday morning (May 24), three people were booked into Lubbock jail for crimes related to vandalizing vehicles with a BB gun.
KAMC News reports at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday morning, Lubbock Police were called to the 2200 block of 93rd Street to investigate a damaged vehicle. The victim claimed that he heard a loud noise of glass breaking and then people laughing. When he walked outside, he saw that the back window of his car was shattered.
Officers spotted a suspicious car in the area and stopped it. After questioning the three people in the car, they were arrested. Officers confiscated a BB gun from inside the car.
Thirty-three-year-old Adam Smith (pictured left), 24-year-old Hannah Fritz-Lester (pictured middle), and 21-year-old Andrew Hageter (pictured right) have been charged with felony mischief and a third degree felony of participating in organized crime.
A total of 17 vehicles were found with window damage in the neighborhood in which the trio was arrested.
