Chris Cornell's daughter, Toni, made a special appearance on ABC's Good Morning America in which she joined OneRepublic onstage and joined Ryan Tedder in a duet cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" in honor of her late father Chris Cornell and his friend, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington. Both musicians tragically passed this year by committing suicide.

The performance came as part of Good Morning America's summer concert series. As the pair sang, there were shots of the crowd swaying their arms back and forth with the song and some fans in the audience with mementos honoring the musicians. A string section backed the band, and photos of the musicians appeared on the screen behind the performance. Watch the full performance in the player above.

“It’s an honor to perform this for my dad and Chester and to sing for them,” Toni Cornell said to ABC News. "Chester sang this at Chris’ funeral, and this is arguably one of the greatest songs written in the last 50 years,” Tedder added, “It’s a very special song to us, and I think to most people and especially to Toni [Cornell] as well.”

Linkin Park were scheduled to be the music guests for the Good Morning America concert series today, but obviously canceled the performance along with their scheduled tour after the death of Bennington. OneRepublic stepped in to play the show, and called it an honor to pay tribute to their fellow musicians.

After the death of Bennington, Linkin Park announced that all donations for their Music for Relief charitable foundation would go to the One More Light fund in honor of Bennington. They also launched a tribute site where fans could discuss the singer and get information about suicide prevention. You can find that site here.
