‘The Ultimate Metallica Show’ Recap: Celebrating Metallica With Gratitude

As I said on this past weekend's Ultimate Metallica Show, it was pretty easy to celebrate Metallica with gratitude because, well, that's what we do every week.

But given the time of the year, I figured it was especially important to offer up our thanks for the greatest band in the world—and the greatest fan community in the world, too. A lot of you chimed in before the show with reasons why you're thankful for Metallica and I shared some of those comments on the air.

Beyond Thanksgiving, we also celebrated a few anniversaries—as you can see in the playlist below—like S&M, Garage Inc. and Live at Grimey's, and you know we had to keep pulling out some live tracks from Metallica's recent old-school show in honor of the Zazula family.
