United F&B Services Hosting Job Fair at the New Buddy Holly Hall

United Food and Beverage Service (a division of the United Supermarkets' Family) is hosting a job fair at the new Buddy Holly Hall at 1300 Mac Davis Lane in Lubbock, Texas.

The job fair will be held on January 21st, 2021 from 1 to 7 p.m. with on-site interviews.

They're currently looking for the following positions:

Bartender
Food server
Host

Furthermore, Rave On also offers "flexible scheduling, weekly pay, a college savings plan" as benefits to their part-time or full-time positions.

This job fair will be the first time many people see the Buddy Holly Hall in person. I will be there for part of the day, and I'm excited to see this new facility.

I believe that the Buddy Holly Hall will attract music and other cultural events that have never been anywhere near Lubbock. I know the tourism dollars from the surrounding areas to attend these events will benefit our local economy and it might be a tipping point reason why a student might chose Texas Tech University over another school. I'm grateful for any downtown and downtown-adjacent development, as I think it benefits the beauty and culture of our city as a whole.
