After a heart attack on February 26, Jerry Gaskill, the drummer for King's X, is doing better and recovering in the hospital.

The vocalist for King's X, Doug Pinnick, stated that Gaskill "smiled and gave the thumbs up" on Facebook, after the band was worried for Gaskill's survival in the first place. Pinnick did report that Gaskill was a little troubled by breathing, but that he "looks sharp" and Pinnick feels "much better about this."

The band has also started a fund for the medical bills that will have to be paid, and this fund will be backed by the sales of a download-only version of the "Burning Down Boston: Live at the Channel" MP3, which was recorded back in June of 1991.
