The pandemic is drifting further out of view and regular life is returning. Hell. F***ing. Yes.

Upon a Burning Body will be returning to Lubbock, Texas at the end of July to play a show at Jake's Backroom.

Jason Melton of J&B Productions told 94.5 FMX that's he's pretty sure people in Lubbock are going to be stoked to hear UABB was coming back for another show.

"Right now the band is signed with Seek & Strike Records. They released their last album, Southern Hostility in June 2019," Melton said about UABB and their upcoming gig. "They are finally back on the road after the pandemic shut it all down, and bringing that southern metal back to Lubbock for the first time in years to Jake's Backroom."

The San Antonio-based metal band won't be playing the show alone. Several other West Texas metal faves will be on the ticket, too.

"Also on the bill is is Life Cycles, who have been making moves recently, and openers will be All Falls Down out of Lubbock, Soothsayer out of Abilene and The Light Superior out of Amarillo, Texas,"  Melton told 94.5 FMX.
