There's been quite a bit of talk lately about whether or not vapes are going to be completely banned in Texas. Full disclosure, I'm writing this while sucking on a peach-flavorite robotic ciggy. So, like many of you, I am a teensy bit nervous, and I decided it would be a good time to get to the bottom of the rumors before we all have a meltdown.

So, what's going on?

The Texas legislature just backed down from passing a bill that would have banned nearly every mass-market vaping product available in the United States today, even those containing a single component made in China.

Are vapes going away?

The final bill decided to ban vape packaging that is "child-appealing." So, if there are cute little puppies and gumdrops on your favorite vape, that will probably change, but it looks like you'll still be able to vape till your heart's delight in a less-fun package.

Thank goodness for the good people at Vaping360 for setting it all straight in a great article. You can learn more about THC regulations, vaping, and what the heck is going on with it all in Texas by heading over to their website, which lays it all out for you in a very reader-friendly way.

In closing, don't get too worked up yet. We never know exactly how these things will play out until they do. Still, it probably wouldn't be a terrible idea to stow away a couple of fruity puff sticks for a rainy day...
