A suicidal person was taken into custody by Lubbock Police officers late Thursday night (May 30th) after about two hours of negotiations.

Video has surfaced of the person being taken down by Lubbock Police. He was armed with a knife, according to the department.

Fortunately, nothing more developed from this scary scene and the man was transported to the hospital to likely receive treatment on what were observed to be self-inflicted wounds.
