Video: McDonald’s Employee Loses Her Cool On Customer Asking For Sauce
What the nug is going on here?
A TikTok from earlier this month of a McDonald's employee throwing ice on a customer after asking for sauce is going viral right now. The post currently has over 5000 likes and hundreds of comments and depicts a woman asking for sauce at the drive-thru window, only to be doused in ice by an angry employee.
I'm sure there is much more to the story that wasn't caught on camera, so it's hard to say what exactly went wrong. As much as you might like to throw something at a customer, it just doesn't seem like the best idea. I can't say for sure, but I would guess the employee probably doesn't have a job anymore.
Check out the video below:
I'm not going to lie, I've been frustrated with people while working at a drive-thru window before. There are plenty of times I would have liked to do the same thing, but I liked my job and having money in my pocket more than risking it all on a customer. This was definitely a poor move on the employee's fault. No customer is worth losing your job over.
Once when I worked for a local coffee shop, a customer threw a milkshake at me through a drive-thru window because I hadn't made it the way she liked it. I was completely shocked. I wanted to come straight through that window and give her a piece of my mind, but I kept my cool. I can see both sides of the coin. Customer service is rough.
Note to everyone: don't throw stuff at people through the drive-thru window, no matter what side you are on. It's lame.
