Watch Out! There’s A Bengal Tiger On The Loose In Texas…
A tiger escaped from its enclosure at a zoo in Northern Mexico near Rio Grande. It's got border officers on edge. The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is doing its best to warn locals to be on high alert for a Bengal tiger roaming around the area near Quinta La Fauna Zoo in Reysoa, Mexico.
Have you spotted the big kitty?
Zoo staff reportedly did not notice the tiger was missing until roughly 8:30 am last Wednesday.
This isn't the first time Texas has seen a tiger on the loose. Back in 2021, a Bengal tiger named India was discovered walking the streets of a neighborhood in west Houston. It was successfully captured and taken to the Cleveland Armory Black Beauty Ranch where it lived out the remainder of its life until passing away in December of 2023.
So, what should you do if you come across the tiger?
If you're in your vehicle, you're going to want to stay put, that's for sure! Keep your eyes on it and call the local authorities so that they can send the appropriate officers out to capture the kitty! Just make sure you steer clear of it! It may be adorable and cuddly looking...but it's also wild AF and might think you're a tasty little snack. (Cuz you are, boo. You slay. Watch yourself, ya heard?)
