Wayland is Ready To Get Loud Tonight In Lubbock At Backstage [INTERVIEW]

Tonight we throw it down again, but this time we throw down at Backstage located at 18th and Texas with Wayland and they are ready to get loud in Lubbock tonight!

If you are a fan of cut throat, straight up rock and roll then Wayland will not disappoint. Of course getting advice from Jesse James Dupree of Jackyl doesn't hurt either.

When asked what caught Jesse James Dupree's eye about Wayland guitarist Phillip Vilenski said.

"Jesse was really impressed with our work ethic"

Jesse James Dupree then said to them.

"You guys are great guys, but you don't quite yet smell like a rock band"

In a world that is filled with rock music that overlaps each other, Wayland is a band that is breaking that mold and bringing rock and roll back where it should be.

When I brought up The Black Crowes as an example Phil said.

"I think I could make that same noise in my basement" when he first started to get interested in playing music.
