City of Lubbock Sets Opening Date for Pools, One Location Will Be Delayed
Summer is almost here, and if you're looking to cool off at a city pool we have some good news for you. We now know when Lubbock's four municipal swimming pools will open up and what they'll offer this year.
Starting Friday, May 27th, 2022, the City of Lubbock will open its swimming pools for the community to enjoy. You can scroll down to see each pool, where they're located and what they have to offer.
Entry at each swimming pool is $2 for kids 17 and under and $3 for adults. Children who are 2 years old and under get in free.
While we look forward to going to all four pools, one location, the Montelongo Pool, will be delayed opening due to a pool leak according to the City of Lubbock. The projected opening date for this pool is now Saturday, June 11th, 2022.

The Safe Capacity guideline is to prevent overcrowding and to ensure a safe swimming environment for the guests. The Safe Capacity number can fluctuate daily based on staffing and number of patrons.
