What The Heck is Going on With Kraft Mac and Cheese?
Does it seem like the pasta in a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese cooks WAY faster than it used to? Over the past year, I've made a couple of boxes for dinner and the consistency was totally weird. I thought I was the only person who noticed until I came across a TikTok today of someone saying the same thing. What's going on at Kraft?
Check out the video below to see what I mean...
Let's see what people had to say in the comment section...
"The cheese tastes weird now too."
"Wow I thought it was just me!!!!"
"The company probably has switched to budget ingredients. "No one will notice, at least not until it's too late."
"While we're at it, why is there no bag in Shake n Bake boxes anymore?"
"Even the cheese isn't the same. KD was the first food I ever cooked for myself when I was 11 years old."
"Yes the box says cook 7-8 minutes but I only do 5 minutes maximum or they turn to mush."
"They also don't expand anymore as all noodles should."
"No agreed. If you don't undercook them they always end up l like this."
"Wow. Happened to me last week. I thought I made a mistake lol."
It looks like I'm not crazy. There seems to be something fishy going on with Kraft Mac and Cheese. It looks like the solution is to skip the instructions on the box and only cook the pasta for 5 minutes. Simple enough, but, it's still kind of weird and annoying...right?
