When Will These 2 Dangerously Abandoned Cars Be Removed From The Loop?
Is today the day? Probably not. Nobody seems to care about these two stupid cars abandoned in a dangerous spot on Loop 289 near the mall.
I'm not even sure how long it's been at this point, but I know the dark-colored minivan (or whatever the hell it is) was the first vehicle that decided to kick back and relax the loop for far too long. It's been there for at least a week. I've passed it every single day on my way to work and, as of a few days ago, it's made a new friend: a white truck.
Apparently, the minivan got a little lonesome, spending all of these days way up on that scary loop all alone and called up a pal. How sweet!
It's almost become a Lubbock landmark to use when giving someone directions:
"Oh yeah, just take the exit you see after you pass the long-abandoned minivan and its new friend, the white truck. We don't know where they came from, but boy are they fun to avoid ass-early in complete darkness on your way to work! It's like a game!"
These cars are in a horrible spot. They're sandwiched between traffic merging onto the loop and traffic already speeding by. How long until someone smacks into one?
How the hell are two cars stuck in the same ridiculous spot? Whose cars are these, and why are they still there? Will there be a third car soon? Perhaps a fourth? Or maybe the loop just becomes the new overflow parking for surrounding businesses because nobody seems to give a crap. Dandy!
I can't be the only person that is laying in bed at night, full of profound questions such as these. Do you know who these vehicles belong to or when the heck they're going to be moved? Comment below or on the FMX Facebook page.
