Stone Sour played a special hometown show at a place called Wooly's in Des Moines, Iowa. The opening act was Painface, a band fronted by singer Anders Colsefini. Anders was the original singer for Slipknot, and he left for whatever reason he had at the time. He was replaced by Corey Taylor after his departure in 1997. The rest is rock history.

This Wednesday, Halloween for those of you that are keeping count, Halestorm are doing a special Hale-oween webcast concert. According to their announcement video, "Guess what's happening? We're taking over the Warner Sound and we're making it a Halestorm Hale-oween! So tune in to our live room, and we'll see you there."

Three Days Grace are currently gearing up for their "Transit Of Venus" tour. So just for kicks the band filmed some rehearsal footage for your eyeballs to absorb.
With Green Day having to pull off the Voodoo Music Fest for Billie Joe's rehab stint, Metallica stepped in to fill the open slot. And being the good guys that Metallica are, they paid tribute to Billie and the band the best way they know how.
