Metallica Plans To Co-Headline Outside Lands Festival

I've always wanted to take a trip to beautiful San Francisco, California, I might just have to get off my butt and finally do it this summer. Take in the sites, the Golden Gate Bridge, Haight-Ashbury, maybe a San Francisco Giants ball game and check out Outside Lands Festival 2012 "the world's only gourmet music festival."

This year's event takes will place in the Golden Gate Park August 10-12 and will benefit San Franciso's Recreation and Park Department.

Some of the acts scheduled to take part in this year's event include Metallica, Foo Fighters, Skrillex, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Beck and Jack White. Tickets go on sale April 19th.

I think it's time I made a trip out to Northern California.
