Rooster’s Arcade Flashback, Contra [VIDEO]

Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A B A Start! Has there every been any better cheat code in the history of gaming?

Contra was released in 1987 as a Arcade game and then released in 1988 for the Nintendo gaming system.

The game was great where either you or you and friend could play together in a run around shoot em up type game vs. aliens and such.

As for the cheat if you have no idea what I am talk about with Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A B A Start, it was cheat code that when entered correctly gave you 30 extra lives. Now i always tried to beat the game without the cheat but hey, it was there so why waste it.

Contra is one of my favorite games of all time and I love dusting off the old NES to defeat some aliens.
