Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Ron Howard (always "Opie" to some) has optioned the fourth book in the "Lestat Saga" for a possible movie release. This movie could be a real prize for an actor to score.

Johnny Depp stars as Barnabus Collins in the movie "Dark Shadows." The movie is based on a long running horror soap opera of the same name. That's not what I noticed about this picture.
The first thing I noticed is that it would be VERY painful to get a prostate exam from Depp. The next thing I noticed is his similarity to another VERY famous vampire.

I'm the hugest Kevin Smith fan, but I "like" a lot of his stuff. Some people worship his films, I just think they're pretty good. His films mostly involved some type of comedy premise. Smith has written or directed everything from Clerks to Cop Out. A lot of people were excited when he was set to make a "controversial" horror movie. The problem is, the movie just plain sucks. Despite my love of horror movies, I wasn't the biggest "Friday the 13th" fan. To me they were mostly just kill scene followed by kill scene with very little story or tension in between them. It's for that reason I'm going to hand this list over to somebody who obviously LOVED the series. More after the jump.

The preview featured a clip where a man in a rob throws some crosses in the air that turn into switchblade/shurkens that he throws at vampires.
