Man, I have to go back and read the advice from my girl Stephanie. You have to have thick skin if you want to play on the internet, because no matter what you say, someone will take issue or offense to it. It's got to the point to where it is ridiculous.

In my last blog, I took issue with a meme. The meme, is patently false.  Even then, my conclusion was this:

Fast food workers are worth more than what they are getting, and MOST soldiers are priceless.
I don't even see how people can object to that.  Maybe you could say, that ALL people should be paid for HOW they do their job instead of WHAT job they do, but the world doesn't work that way.
For my trouble I get one lady who called me an "ass" and named the other radio stations she was going to listen to (you're punishing yourself lady, not me).  And one active duty serviceman who wanted to pick apart the soldier salaries I quoted (which I got from three different sources).
Now what I need to remember, and I what I want to impart to you is, no matter how good your intentions are, someone will take issue.  What the haters motivations are, we don't know. I have no idea if this serviceman was screwed over for raises or if this lady had a bad day and was just looking for someone to take it out on. Maybe they had a legitimate complaint, but they certainly didn't do a good job of expressing what they had a problem with.
My problem is, I want people to know that I care enough to respond, but by responding I'm usually unleashing a hoard of bees.  So do me a favor, if you have a problem with something I write, email me directly so we can get on the same page.  I will discuss anything with you if you have a legitimate concern. If you just want to say something crappy to someone on the internet, I'm going to have to drop out.
