2014 Big Purple Party Pre-Show Pics – Wood’s Eye View

This is the first set of photos from the 2014 KFMX Big Purple Party on May 25, at the Lone Star Amphitheater and Pavilion. This set covers preshow crowd shots, backstage interviews (Filter’s Richard Patrick and The Deftones’ Chino Moreno), and everyone just having a good time.

This was just the start of a nonstop hard kicking day of rock, and the biggest surprise was the weather that turned out perfect despite the continual threat of rain. I hope you find a few pictures that you like, and if you look really hard, you might even find yourself in one of the crowd shots as the day goes by. Purple was the color of the day, and there was enough paint for everyone!
