There's a lot of good content that comes out of college football. The games, post-game tirades, bloopers -- the list goes on. But nothing tops the heartfelt nature of walk-ons getting scholarships, and Texas Tech did it big this year by giving eight scholarships to former walk-ons.

The team was gathered up at The Jones after practice one night and the jumbotron popped on and flashed seven faces and a Double T.

The players mobbed the players that were on screen and congratulated the guys: Tyler Carr, Connor Killian, Caden Leggett, Michael Nelson, Mark Richardson, Dalton Rigdon and Jax Welch.

After the raucousness calmed down, Coach Wells got up and said there was one more face that belonged where that Double T was on the screen, saying that the guy epitomized what it meant to be a Red Raider.

Then, Coach Wells named Malik Essilfie as the last man to receive a scholarship. The team went wild again.

After the scholarships were given out, the guys called their families and the parents got to celebrate with their sons as well. Just another great example of Coach Wells showing us the We Us Our program.
