A Huge Wine Festival Will Be Uncorked In Lubbock In November
Ready for cooler temperatures, live music, food trucks, and of course wine? The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce is back with another great event on November, 6th called Lubbock Uncorked.
This is the wine festival that you don't want to miss out on as Lubbock Uncorked celebrates the culture of grape-growing and wine-making in Texas. When people first think of Lubbock, wine may not be the first thing they think of, but this area is huge when it comes to wine. In fact, 80% of Texas wine grapes are grown in our area with many of those grapes being grown in Brownfield. Back in 2018, Terry County and Brownfield had more than 3,000 acres of vineyards and it has grown since then.
Lubbock Uncorked will host 23 different Texas wineries on Saturday, November 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the American Windmill Museum in Lubbock. Tickets cost $35 in advance or $45 the day of the event. For $35, you will get admission into the wine festival plus ten wine tasting tickets for one ounce each. You will be able to purchase more wine tasting tickets at the event if you'd like.
There are also VIP tickets for $75 in advance or $85 the day of. These tickets include the same things as the regular tickets plus access to a VIP tent with premium wine tasting and food tastings.
Speaking of food. There will be food trucks and places to sit an enjoy some wine and food. There will also be live music throughout the venue. And if you find a wine you love, you will be able to purchase bottles.
