ABC Rodeo To Announce New Location Today

The ABC Rodeo will have an event in 2020, even though no facility has been built in Lubbock.

While they may not settle into a true home until 2021 the ABC has to keep holding events in order to stay on the routing for the rodeo circuit. With that in mind, a temporary location will be announced today at 3 p.m.

Speculation is that the ABC Rodeo will actually have to go out of town for the year which would be a tremendous loss for the Hub City. Hopefully, our hotels and restaurants can still take care of some of the tourists if the 2020 location is close by if that happens. Then again, the South Plains Fairground has had some updates and may be able to accomidate the rodeo short term.
