Small Changes Today Can Lead To Big Wins Tomorrow

Did your New Year's Resolution go right out the window? It's okay. You're definitely not alone. Actually, I didn't even give myself one this year. Not like me at all. I always go big, but I also ALWAYS fail.

This year, I decided, no pressure. No stress.

But it feels like it made me a much cruddier version of my normal, highly motivated, January self, and that sucks. I'm going to fix it. I've decided to start 2026 over. I'm callin' it. My year starts today, and I'm determined to make it the best I've ever had.

Most people tend to give up early because they make their goals way too difficult. This is where I got caught up in the past. I would fail every single year because I just wasn't being reasonable. But, if you don't set the bar to something achievable on the FIRST day, then how will you make it through to the final day?

Small changes each day in your life add up to a BIG difference. It's easy to forget.

You've got to start small. You can always up the difficulty.

You Can Change Your Resolution Anytime!

Did you know that you can decide to give yourself something more feasible/doable right now? AND, I'm willing to bet nobody is going to do anything to stop you or even bat an eye...

Here are a few tips to make next year your year:

• Track progress on a calendar or app daily
• Define your "Why?" (Why does this resolution matter?)
• Find at least one pal who has seen you on your WORST day, and hold one another accountable. It's easier when you aren't alone!
• *Local Tip* - Planet Fitness is signing up new members for extremely cheap right now, AND they just built another huge location in South Lubbock. New gym+less people=Revenge bod? Still need to check that math, but maybe we could still get those flabby buns moving! If there's a will, there's a way!

And, if all else fails, there's always next year. Don't stress. Do you, Boo. I already thought you were great.
