These comics are itchin' like a man in a fuzzy tree* to get back on stage.

It's a Father's Day weekend showcase this Sunday night. On stage will be Floyd Casel, Sara Starr, Miquel Lozano, Jacob Carrizales, and more. Tickets will run you ten dollars at the door which sounds like a heck of a bargain for a full night of entertainment. The show will be at the Culture Lounge at 1914 34th Street. It is BYOB and 18 and over.

Lubbock comedy was really hitting a high point before the Coronavirus brought everything to a screeching halt. It's good to see some familiar names getting ready to rock the stage.

I'll also tell you that if this particular crew is stating that being offensive is their goal, they'll probably hit that goal. None of this group has ever really held their tongue (if it was in their best interest).

*If the first line of this post has you scratching your head, it's mostly a line from Elvis's "All Shook Up". I also found out that "a fuzzy tree" is actually a normal tree that caterpillars have made boom-boom or whatever all over it, so if you get near it, it gives you the willies and you start itching.
