What to Expect at the New February Date

Even with the date shift, the core elements of the event remain the same. Big Wick’s Carne Guisada Cook-Off highlights slow-simmered beef in rich gravy cooked by talented local chefs and home cooks, offering attendees a chance to sample some of the region’s best takes on this West Texas favorite, with some fresh tortillas, of course.  Alongside the food competition, the event features live music, silent auctions, and a lively atmosphere that celebrates local culture and cuisine.

Where To Buy Tickets

Tickets for attendees and contest registration for contenders are both available through Eventbrite (click hyperlink). As someone who attended the first cook-off, I assure you that you're in for a delicious and fun event, all benefiting Idalou Meals on Wheels.
