Mad Season was a 90's "supergroup" featuring Layne Staley of Alice In Chains, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam,  Barret Martin of Screaming Trees and bass player John Baker Saunders. Also involved with the project to a lesser degree  was Screaming Trees vocalist Mark Lanegan.  More after the jump.

The band has reissued the epic album "Above" with some of the tracks written for the second album, which never happened due to the deaths of Saunders and Staley.  Included in the set is a DVD of the Live at the Moore show which is one of the best concert films EVER.

Here's is one of the three unreleased tracks, it features Lanegan on vocals, it's called "Locomotive".
