Let's get this straight, there's no "The" in Misfits.

The Band

Misfits have put together a killer lineup featuring original members Glen Danzig and Jerry Only. Along for the ride is frequent touring member and real-sight-to-behold Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein. This lineup provides fans with both a fantastic musical and visual feast.

The History

Jerry Only has kept the Misfits name alive for many years, while Glen Danzig rocked the metal world. Danzig is a regular player on rock/metal radio with the song "Mother" and to a lesser extent, great tracks like "Twist Of Cain" and "Can't Sleep". Only's baby brother Doyle also leans horror-metal in his solo career and is both scary good and downright scary.

The Experience

I have had the opportunity to see Doyle live, and I can only imagine what using his tremendous energy to propel the gang forward must be. All of these guys are way beyond their punk rock days and can completely shred. They have quite a library of classic Misfits tracks to draw from as well.

The Lineup

This is more than a Misfits show too. Also on the bill are Suicidal Tendencies, the Texas rockabilly legend The Reverend Horton Heat and Agnostic Front. I have a feeling that you'll walk out of the Moody Center in Austin a totally different person than when you came in.
