Crobot’s Sibling Rhythm Section Exiting the Band
Crobot will have a different look the next time you see them as half of the foursome have bowed out of the group. The band's rhythm section -- brothers Jake and Paul Figueroa -- have split from Crobot, while singer Brandon Yeagley and guitarist Chris Bishop will continue.
In a post on their social media, the two remaining members reveal that it was "creative differences" that led to the split, but they've found fill-ins for the brothers that do have a pedigree in the hard rock field. Scorpion Child's Alec Padron will help them out on bass, while The Sword's former drummer Kevin Fender will sit in behind the kit. Their statement on the matter can be read below.
To all of our friends, family, and fans:
We regret to inform you all that Jake and Paul Figueroa will no longer be continuing as members of Crobot. We’ve had an amazing journey as a band together for the last few years but creative differences have driven us apart. There is no denying the unmistakable presence on and off the stage of the rhythm powerhouse that is the Figueroa brothers and whatever comes next for them will certainly be something to look forward to. We are continuing to write new music and will be back in a big way with the help of Alec Padron of Scorpion Child filling in on bass duties and Kevin Fender, formerly of the Sword, on drums. Although moves like this are very tough and heartbreaking for everyone involved, we wish nothing but the best to the brothers and thank them for their dedication throughout the last 4 years. Stay tuned for more updates and we hope to see you out on the road this summer.

During their time in the band, the Figueroa brothers appeared on the Legend of the Spaceborne Killer debut, the Something Supernatural full length and the most recent release, 2016's Welcome to Fat City.
At present, Crobot do have a handful of festival dates scheduled. You can see those stops here. It has not been determined how Crobot will proceed beyond the shows.
