Cult Classic Show Twin Peaks Back in Production
“That gum you like is going to come back in style.”
That phrase might not mean a lot to the layman, but to me it means the Book House boys are back! But so is the looming threat of Killer Bob and the Black Lodge.
David Lynch’s masterpiece of 90s television drama Twin Peaks is making its return to the air in 2017 on Showtime.
If you don't know much about the show, this clip is what everyone remembers most vividly and has continued to drag in new fans over the years:
In the first teaser trailer released on the official Twin Peaks YouTube channel, we can see my personal favorite character return: Deputy Hawk.
“It just touches something in the psyche. It is almost like being in a painting,” Hawk says about the area surrounding the fictional US-Canadian border town of Twin Peaks, located in the Pacific Northwest.
He is speaking about the show as much as its setting. Twin Peaks is a corny, almost overacted slice of Americana. However, it managed to spark mystery and fear that has lasted far beyond its brief two-season run.
