Holy smokes! I had no idea the devil went digital.

I'm sorry my friends, but I'm going to keep calling out the bug-nutty religious folks out there. If we don't put a stop to their nonsense (usually just by calling them out or laughing about them), then we let them become empowered. And as you know, nothing good happens when fanatics take over. I'm not even sure how much this is out there, but if it made it to my highly-curated social media feed, then it's too much.

I can't even believe the screed I read about Netflix's Dahmer show, but I guess we need to discuss the show first.

Dahmer is, of course, Jeffery Dahmer, a serial killer and cannibal who was responsible for the murder of 17 men. The TV show is freakin' intense and it doesn't glamorize Dahmer at all. In fact, there's one episode about one of his victims that is one of the most heartbreaking things ever. Truth be told, I think it's one of the best portrayals of a serial killer ever.

Okay, now back to the nuttiness, with a quote from a Facebook post:

I LITERALLY WAS JUST IN A DREAM WHERE THE HOLY SPIRIT ALLOWED ME TO SEE THE DEMON THAT WAS IN OPERATION! I SAW HIM IN THE DARK!!! I SMELLED HIM!!! I HEARD HIM!!!! HE LITERALLY WAS ON THE FLOOR CRAWLING ON HIS HANDS AND KNEES TOWARDS ME AND MY CHILDREN

Apparently, watching the Dahmer show is how the devil and/or demons get to you.

So let's start with the fact that the show was released on September 21st. Knock, knock -- it doesn't appear there are any demons at the door. I mean, if you're going to claim that A equals B, shouldn't B be present?

Why Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is the latest target for those suffering from these weird delusions is a stumper to me. Looking at this logically, if I wanted to bring demons into your house, why wouldn't I do it with Cocomelon? Because that stuff plays on a loop in many houses. Instead, I'm supposed to believe that the devil wants me to pay $20 a month for Netflix in order to be possessed.

You'd think the devil would be nice enough to possess you for free.
