The Lions re-signed Danny Amendola to a one-year deal, according to NFL Network analyst Peter Schrager.

The former Texas Tech receiver signed with the Lions as a free agent in March 2019 after stints with the Rams, Patriots, and Dolphins. The 34-year-old receiver caught 62 passes for 678 yards last season, both the second-highest totals of his career. And that's with Matthew Stafford being injured most of the season.

The signing with Detroit officially rules out the rumored reunion with Tom Brady, who's a free agent himself.
