Did You Know This Texas Vodka Brand Is Owned by Red Raiders?
When you ask a Texan what their favorite vodka is, they're probably going to say Tito's. Other than the fact that it's distilled in Austin, Texas and is fairly affordable, it isn't anything extraordinary. No shame if you love it; it's just not my favorite.
If I'm going to pick a vodka because it's from Texas, I'm much more likely to reach for something with a variety of flavors. While Deep Eddy has been a go-to for me, I might be switching things up now that I've discovered a Texas-made vodka that has a variety of yummy flavors and is owned by Texas Tech alumni.
Toddi vodka is hand-crafted in Texas using 100 percent non-GMO corn, and every batch is bottled by hand in Granbury, Texas. The company is owned by identical twin sisters, Allison Love and Jennifer Ritz, who grew up in a big Texas family that loved their "Toddi Time." That was when all of the adults in the family would grab a cocktail and the whole family would enjoy beautiful Texas evenings together.
Keeping "Toddi Time" in mind, the sisters crafted their vodka brand that now offers three flavors alongside their classic vodka. The flavors include Lemon-Lime, Mint, and Vanilla Cream, three flavors that pair well with most any cocktail.
You can currently find Toddi vodka all over Texas, including two Lubbock liquor stores. It is available at Woody's Liquors and 50th St Liquor, and you can see the map of every other place that carries it on their official website.
You can find more information about Toddi, including the brand's story and cocktail ideas, at their official website.
