I suppose there are more than a few times when it's best you leave your child right where they're at. Having your child have a little sleepover might be a lot less dangerous than having them in the car with you. One woman is in a whole lot of trouble with police after picking up her child after hours according to The Daily Mail.

Texas Police Stop Potential D.W.I. Mom

In El Paso County police pulled a woman over for "failure to indicate". While that's a pretty petty reason to pull someone over, in this case, the police may have saved some lives. The cops stopped the woman just short of 1:30 a.m. The cops believed that the woman had been drinking and placed her in the police car. This is where the story takes a turn.

Texas Woman Didn't Know Child Was In Car

The woman told police that here reason for being on the road so late was that she was on her way to pick up her child. She apparently made this claim several times. It was sometime after that the police decided to search her vehicle and found that there was a five-month old child already in the backseat. The cops then escorted her back to her car and showed her the child, while she claimed she didn't know the infant was in the car.

Texas Mom May Be The Worst

This is a new one on us. These charges, if true, are unforgivable. Drunk driving is horrible. Drunk driving with a child in the car is more horrible. Forgetting that you even had the child in the car while drunk driving is next level, beyond horrible. The woman was charged with D.W.I. and more.
