Every Dog Has Its Day, Seriously

After a family gave up on their white Poodle "Shorty" during the turmoil of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the now 15-year-old dog has been found in Kannapolis, North Carolina in miraculous and mysterious fashion.No one really knows how the dog got all the way to North Carolina after being left with a caretaker in New Orleans, but the microchip the family had installed inside of the dog tracked all the way to the East Coast.

The family now wants the dog back, and hopefully will get their beloved family member, who was once figured gone, back for good.
