The Lady Chaps of LCU have now won their SECOND NCAA Division II Championship. The team actually went 32-5 this year. You can welcome the champs home Tuesday at 5:30 at the Rip Griffin Center.
The FINAL ABC Rodeo in the Lubbock Coliseum is this week. Rather than be sad about losing its longtime home, the ABC Rodeo will celebrate it's 77th year in Lubbock beginning this Thursday. BTW, pop over to their Facebook page and check out the cool opening graphic of them preparing the Coliseum.
This Friday night is looking like a beautiful night to get out for a stroll. With a daytime high of 80, it should be a fun evening to get out and look around. If you haven't been, it's fun just to head over to the food truck court.
We're just a couple weeks away from the Lubbock Arts Festival. This year's theme is "Superheroes" so it should be extra fun for kids and a great way to get them interested in the arts.
