Boo! Did I scare you? You better get your big boy pants on because the Mahon Library (1306 9th Street) is doing their first-ever ghost tours in the basement of the library, and you could be there.

On October 29th, 30th and 31st (AKA Halloween weekend), you can hear ghost stories and see real live ghosts...if you believe in that. They say it'll start off with a talk about all the ghost stories and sightings they have seen in the library, and then if you're brave enough to go in the basement you might even see one. They're even providing ghost detecting equipment to use.

Once it's all done, they told us they're going to head over to a local restaurant to enjoy sharing ghost stories and maybe even some food if you would like to purchase it.

It's for all ages, but just remember in the basement it will be dark and only flashlights will be used. It starts at 7 p.m. and will go for about an hour and a half. It's free to the public, but they did say you should make a reservations to make sure you can attend. Call 806-775-2834 to save your spot.

You better do it soon because some days are already filling up. If you can't make it this year, don't fret -- they hope to do it for many years to come because they're already having a great response from the community.

To find out more information, you can go to their website and check it out. Good luck, and remember you entered at your own risk!
