Full Moon This Thursday Night

If you're one of those people who have to chain themselves up in their basement to protect your friends and family, then watch out this Thursday morning.

So, some east coasters will have the benefit of a Full Moon at 12:12 a.m. on 12/12/2019, or so the story goes.  Timeanddate.com, where I get my information, shows us central timers getting mooned at 11:13 p.m.  That time sure isn't as sexy as a bunch of twelves in a row, but it is what it is.

This moon is known as "The Cold Moon", probably because it was cold when the natives named it and they really were more interested in getting warm than naming moons.

For those of you who can't wait to get naked and dance under the full moon, well, expect some shrinkage as we'll be sitting at around freezing at that time.
